The Indian Association for Reliability and Statistics (IARS) was established in the month of January, 2014 under the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act, 2012 with the objectives to cater the requirements of Statistical education in strengthening both conceptual and its practical applications in academia and industry. Keeping in view of the present day science and technological developments particularly in the specialized areas of Re4liability Theory , the academia and the engineering fraternity through IARS annually conduct its annual conferences / seminars/ workshops and meetings which provide a platform for the young practioners of Reliability Theory for their innovative ideas and applications. The Association has been publishing its own pear reviewed, indexed and UGC listed Journal “International Journal of Statistics and Reliability Engineering (IJSRE)” (ISSN: 2350-0174 (Print), 2656-2378(On-line)).
